Volunteer

FUN FACT: Did you know, the people who do the work of the government of The Town of New Market are in large part elected VOLUNTEERS? Town Council (5), Planning and Zoning Commission (6), HDC/ARC (5), Board of Appeals, Board of Elections, Events Committee (10), Green Team (3) and the NMCP (5)  -  ALL volunteers. That is a lot of people - and it's not evening including the Rotary Club or the Philanthropic Lodges or the churches. This Town has a SOLID tradition of volunteers moving it forward and keeping it connected. These people are where the rubber meets this part of the National Road. If you are having twinge of FOMO right now and are curious about volunteer opportunities, keep reading.
