New Employee - Accounting Clerk

The Town is pleased to announce that Karen Kohout has joined our staff as the new Accounting Clerk.  Karen has over 20 years of experience with bookkeeping and office administration.  The new position was created in response to the increase in our accounting and finance needs, with the addition of new programs and developments.

Ms. Kohout will perform the daily accounting required for the Town of New Market, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling contractor accounts, invoicing, preparing financial reports and business licenses, and maintaining the Town’s financial records.  She is a long-time resident of New Market along with her husband and two children and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.  She can be reached at 301-865-5544x2 or kktownofnewmarket@gmail.com with your account questions or concerns.
