Trash & Recycling Information

Regular Trash Pick-up: Tuesdays 

1.  Please have one container (supplied by resident - 70 gallons or less) at your front curb by 6:00 a.m.

2. Note: Brinkley Manor residents with an alley at the rear of their home may place their trash at the rear curb instead. 

3. Do not put recycling, yard waste, bulk items, tires, or hazardous material in the trash. 

Christmas Tree Pick-up: January 2024 

Christmas Tree pick-ups will occur on Wednesday, January 3, and  Wednesday, January 10, 2024.  Trees need to be on curbside before 6:00 a.m. on the morning of pick-up.   Please make sure that the trees are completely bare.  No tree bags, lights, ornaments, tinsel, etc.  

Yard Waste Pick-up:  Wednesdays (SERVICE WILL RESUME THE 1ST WEDNESDAY IN APRIL)

1.  Yard waste pick-up runs from the 1st Wednesday in April to the last Wednesday in November.  

2.  Place at the curb by 6:00 a.m.  Place it no earlier than the evening before pick-up.

3.  Must be in biodegradable paper bags.  Bags can be purchased at local hardware & other stores. 

Acceptable items: 

• Yard trimmings
• Grass clippings
• Tree, hedge, garden clippings
• Leaves
• Brush & branches - cut to 3 feet long and no more than 3 inches in diameter.  Tie in bundles.

Unacceptable items:

• Hazardous materials
• Rootballs
• Dirt or sod
• Rocks
• Brush & branches - larger than 3 feet long and more than 3 inches in diameter.  Not tied in bundles.
